Abstract: The growth in electronic devices applications increases the non linear loads in power systems. These loads produce undesired harmonics which causes many problems. This paper presents the Shunt Active Power Filter (SAPF) to compensate the generated harmonics by 3-phase Rectifier Bridge fed R-L load. The harmonic current extraction is based on prediction current extraction technique -Hysteresis PWM generation pattern.
